Google Autofill Data Recovery.
Google Toolbar has a great feature:- AutoFill. It lets you fill your On-line Forms. Suppose you want to subscribe to an On-line Newsletter or Sign-up for a Website. They will ask you to fill a form. You have to type your name, E-mail address etc. This becomes very boring if you are asked to do this everytime you are signing-up. Here Google AutoFill comes into play. If you have Google Toolbar installed, Use this feature. Download it from here. You have to fill all the required columns before using this feature. See Settings->Options->AutoFill Settings to Edit the Data. But now, if you accidently uninstalled the Google-Toolbar or you formatted your hard-drive, you lose all the AutoFill Data. You'll again have to Fill AutoFill Columns.
How to get rid of this?
When you edit the AutoFill Data, it's stored in a file called "autofill.dat". It's located in D:\ or C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Application Data\Google Folder. But How to open this? First Select "Show Hidden Files & Folders" from Tools menu of Windows Explorer. Click Tools->Folder Options->View->Select "Show Hidden Files & Folders"Then Double Click My Computer->Open the Drive holding your Current Windows->Open "Documents and Settings"->There will be 3 Folders, "Default User", "All Users", "Current Username"(this depends on the name you typed in "User Accounts"). Open the 3rd Folder of your name. Open the Hidden Folder "Application Data". Open Google Folder. There will be a file autofill.dat.Just save this file to another partition where it can be easily located. After you Uninstall Google Toolbar or Format hard-drive, Copy this file back to original location which is: D:\ or C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Application Data\Google
Remember the 3rd Folder contains name which you have given at the time of installing Windows. It is stored in "User Accounts". In my case the folder name is Shashank. You have to open this Folder->Application Data\Google Folder.
