How to set your favorite sound clip as Message-tone or Notification-tone in your Micromax Canvas HD (A116)?
Been using Micromax Canvas HD for past 3 months & loved it a lot. Its far better than my last phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace) & surprisingly I was cheaper by a margin of 10 INR!! But the thing that it lacks among a few other things (its still great, nonetheless!!!) is inability to set your favorite sound clip as Message-tone or Notification-tone. All it allows is to use pre-loaded sounds but not your own clip. So how to do it? Read on.

Just install ES File Explorer File Manager from Google Play Store. Open it, browse to the location where your sound clip is stored & then play it using ES Media Player. Tap the top-right icon and then tap "Set ringtone". A pop-up will open. Choose what you want! You're done! For more info on ES File Explorer, click here.
